Angels in the Night
HELPING HOMELESS SHELTERS IN OUR COMMUNITIES
Angels began in 2002 in Vancouver with $17,000 raised, and has since grown to an outstanding fundraising achievement of over $4 million raised to date in cash and in kind donations for homeless shelters. As mortgage brokers, we help people get into homes each and every day, but we also believe that we should be doing something to help those who do not have a home. In 2017, we delivered to multiple shelters (over 40) in 11 cities across Canada - Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Oshawa, Toronto, Mississauga, Kitchener Waterloo, London, Windsor, Barrie. We raise funds throughout the year, work with shelters to determine their most pressing needs, purchase the requested supplies, and then deliver the items to homeless shelters on a Tuesday night in December.
